About the team

The Devices organization at Roku is responsible for products and partnerships that lead to continued account acquisition. Our business is fast paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in an ever-changing environment. The right mix of organizational and communication skills will be the key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are also essential.

About the role

In the Operations Program Specialist (OPS) role, you will be responsible for supporting Roku’s NPI and Sustaining operations team with material readiness and driving our production lifecycle management (PLM) & PO processes. You and the team will own all operations ECO/MCO approvals, track cost opportunities & qualification through the supply chain, drive material readiness for Operations activities and ensure Roku’s ability to support and react to new retailer opportunities through owning the SKU creation process.

What you will be doing

• Working with Operations & Engineering Program Managers, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Packaging Engineering as well as numerous other teams to manage the planning and execution of new product development builds and sustaining operations.
• Track readiness & risks: work with procurement, engineering and suppliers to prioritize qualification efforts, track opportunities, readiness for each qualification and provide summary of technical and supply chain risks to the cross-functional teams.
• Get hands on with managing readiness and qualification efforts with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Drive product cost & margin improvements through streamlining qualification process for secondary suppliers and material optimizations.
• Lead sustaining operations efforts in support of retailer expansion & new SKU creation in Propel. Manage post-launch ECO/MCO qualification, Top-Line Assembly (TLA) adjustments and drive approval process with internal and external teams.
• Manage operations budget, vendor set-up in NetSuite and PR/PO approvals process.
• Drive material readiness and CTB efforts for Operations led factory readiness builds across Roku’s first party product lines.

• Strong team player, who demonstrates initiative to foster teamwork/collaboration
• Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and contract manufacturing partners
• Experience working with multiple different teams in a R&D environment
• Proficiency with Propel/Agile PLM, Jira & Confluence
• Excel, Statistical SW (SPSS, SQL etc.) or Database experience
• BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10%
