The Role At Outreach, we are seeking a talented ServiceNow Systems Engineer to lead the creation, fundamental configuration, and technical expertise of our ServiceNow platform. This role encompasses managing ServiceNow installations for the Corporate IT team, creating proof-of-concept applications, and overseeing system compliance. Your Daily Adventures Will Include

• ServiceNow Management: Manage ServiceNow installations for the cyber and strategic risk teams
• Application Development: Create go-to-market proof-of-concept applications on the ServiceNow platform
• Technical Design: Develop rational, competency-based technological designs from functional specifications
• Workflow Creation: Create new ServiceNow procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency
• Portal Development: Craft unique service portal pages and widgets to support the organization
• Code Review: Review and guide junior team members through code-related tasks
• Best Practices: Ensure the development of the ServiceNow solution adheres to industry best practices
• Testing: Create organized test plans and suites, estimate, and prioritize testing-related tasks
• Issue Tracking: Determine, record, and track software flaws, and conduct rigorous regression testing of corrected issues
• User Access Testing: Participate in User Access Testing (UAT) to gather feedback and ensure ITIL process compliance
• Code Base Management: Control update sets for the code base's transfer to test and production environments
• Administration: Oversee ServiceNow administration, planning, and maintenance
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to address ServiceNow product flaws

Our Vision of You:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in CMDB Implementation
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, SecOps, etc.)
• Strong web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Proven ability to configure ServiceNow using various features (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts)
• Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML5
• Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs for integrating ServiceNow with other IT systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for gathering requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Scrum or Agile development methodologies
• Certification as a Certified Implementation Specialist
• Certified Application Developer.
