Who You'll Work With

The Outshift team is highly visible within Cisco as it's leading the future innovation for the business. As part of the Strategy, Incubations & Applications group led by Cisco’s Chief Strategy Officer, you’ll be working with some of the organization’s most forward thinkers.

In this role, you can expect to work with cloud enginee rs , design, scientists , AI specialists in defining and executing the product plan .

· Collaborating with product managers to understand product requirements, user needs, and business objectives. You will work together to define the product vision, features, and roadmap.

· Own the creation of Minimal Viable Product (MVP) definition and then defining a product roadmap that elevates the competitive differentiators at every stage. Define customer value prop and return on investment at each stage

· Work with marketing and business development teams in identifying and executing effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for your product. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress

· Partnering with engineers and developers to ensure the feasibility of design solutions and effectively communicate design requirements. You will collaborate to iterate on designs, address technical constraints, and implement user interfaces.

W hat You’ll Do
As a Senior Product Designer, your responsibilities involve designing user-centric products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design goals with business objectives and user needs.

• You conceptualize, iterate, and execute design solutions, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You are responsible for translating design concepts into high-quality visual designs and interactive prototypes, ensuring effective communication of design ideas.
• Additionally, you document design decisions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and may provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers.

Overall, in your role as a Senior Product Designer, you play a crucial part in shaping the success of products by ensuring they are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly.

You will need to listen to feedback, share your ideas, and align your goals with the project vision. You will also need to adapt to different working styles and preferences, and leverage the strengths and expertise of your team members.

You will need to be flexible and resilient, and embrace challenges and opportunities. You will also need to be proactive and resourceful, and seek clarity and drive team alignment when needed.

Mandatory Requirements

· 5 years Design experience with SaaS products

· Cloud Security Experience

· Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Suite and Figma

· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields

Preferred Requirements

· Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

· Awareness of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices to design inclusive and accessible user interfaces for users with disabilities.

· Ability to create animations and microinteractions to enhance user engagement and usability.

Ability to create animations and microinteractions using CSS animations, JavaScript libraries, or animation tools to enhance user engagement and usability.
