Job Description

As the Presentation Scheduling and Metadata Coordinator for our German language linear channels and low-latency streams, you will be working in a team of skilled professionals to bring the best live sports program to our valuable customers. You’ll be responsible for the daily presentation schedules and EPG metadata for our partners. Accuracy and timely delivery will be one of your strengths – especially in a dynamic environment handling and coordinating many big sports events to deliver them in the best quality to our DAZN subscribers. You’ll play a key part in coordinating different workstreams. You’ll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to make sure that all editorial, strategical and legal requirements are met. Strong collaboration with Central Planning, Presentation Scheduling and Transmission is a significant part of this role. As a part of our linear channel team, delivering our live sports events into our broadcast linear channels is in your hands! This role will be based in Munich. As our new Presentation Scheduling Coordinator (m/f/d), you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Create daily presentation schedules for DAZN’s Linear Channels & Low-Latency Streams in DACH.
    • Manage the compilation of EPG metadata and provide accurate and timely delivery to platform partners.
    • Manage the reconciliation of as-run records and schedules for audience measurement reporting.
    • Ensure all editorial, promotional, ad sales and legal and contractual requirements are met.
    • Provide reports/feedback to senior managers and other stakeholders for strategic decisions
    • Work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholder.
    • Create and distribute live overviews/recording and missing material lists to operators and internal teams.

You'll have:

    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to be calm under pressure, with the ability to assess and explain issues quickly and clearly.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate to different stakeholders.
    • An understanding of the commercial world of broadcast sports sponsorship and advertising.
    • An understanding of the world of sport, with awareness of potential issues around combat sports.
    • Ability to think about our content with an editorial awareness.
    • Good understanding of current, digital, professional broadcasting technology. Understanding of the scheduling system “WhatsOn” and metadata workflows would be beneficial.
    • Some exposure to, experience in or awareness of a broadcast environment/scheduling team.
