Basis’s innovative Engineering team designs and develops new features and integrations for Basis, our industry-leading, comprehensive software solution. Our platform processes over 300 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process. This team is all about data—and in order to create value from the massive amount of data we collect, engineering leverages their dynamic Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to create insights that benefit the industry as a whole. WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE You will have an opportunity to participate in the creation of a framework that will be used to test our products for many years to come. Bring your testing expertise to the game and you’ll get the opportunity to work with best engineers in AdTech on the latest tools and technologies. Our UX stack is Ext.JS/Java/MySQL . CI on Bamboo. We also process billions of transactions each day across our distributed infrastructure.

OTHER WAYS YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

• Being responsible for design and execution of a complex automated testing platform of a real-time, high-throughput (>2M QPS) ecosystem
• Delivering optimized code and deal with interesting scalability challenges
• Being the voice of quality in highly collaborative agile product teams.
• Making sure that each deployment to production is of highest quality

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Object Oriented development, multithreading, SQL & NoSQL, micro-services architecture, and TDD
• Coding skills and experience in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: Java, C#, Scala
• Passion for one or more dynamic languages like Ruby, Python, or Javascript
• Understanding of Agile SDLC

BONUS POINTS

• Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with creating testing backend automation solutions in a big data ecosystem
• Excited by a fast-paced product development environment.
