Fanatics Brands is looking for an Inventory Analyst to support the Inventory Management team in monitoring inventory levels, traceability, and identifying, classifying, and finding the root causes of inventory inaccuracies. This position will work in conjunction with Accounting and Finance to develop, implement and monitor processes to insure the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) Compliance objectives are being met. The position also provides support on special projects directly or indirectly contributing to inventory control as needed for the US Operations team based in Tampa. The successful candidate for the Inventory Analyst role will conduct thorough analysis and recommendations related to inventory control accuracy to support Fanatics Brands internal and external networks. This position will partner closely with Accounting/Finance, Operations, Distribution and Tech teams to drive accurate and timely systematic on hand inventory levels. This role will be a key contributor to ongoing transformational projects to improve Fanatics inventory control processes and related systems.

Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement and monitor processes and procedures to insure SOX Compliance
    • Research and reconcile inventory issues to determine root causes and drive process and procedural changes to correct
    • Drive cycle counting and reconciliation activities for Key Third Party Contractors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
    • Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Tech to ensure processes and systems are capturing inventory transactions accurately and under the correct classification for financial reporting.
    • Establish a framework for monitoring and controlling inventory including exception reporting, identifying key risk factors (e.g. aging, activity), and audits/cycle counting programs in both internal and external facilities.
    • Identify high-risk operational processes and develop/implement new process and tech recommendations to improve.
    • Develop expertise in core system processes to support root cause analysis and build out of new exception reporting and process improvements.
    • Strong data analysis capability required to manage the volume of SKU/Locations for which this position will be accountable. Need a strong foundation in analytical tools (e.g. Business Intelligence/MicroStrategy, Excel, Access, etc.)
    • Make recommendations and support the transition from current inventory systems to new ERP system and platforms
    • Demonstrated ability in using problem solving techniques to develop and implement business process improvements
    • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and work independently
    • Exhibit a sense of urgency, working in a fast-paced environment with constructive judgment during demanding situations
    • Some Travel (15 - 20%)

Requirements

    • Ability to analyze multiple data sources and processes to make strategic business decisions
    • 2 – 4 years of Related Professional Experience required
    • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or Related Field preferred
    • Ability to work and think independently
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, SumIfs, etc.)
    • Experience with cycle counting programs, ERP systems and SOX compliance is a plus
    • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
    • Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
    • Willingness to travel to drive inventory audits, rollout of new processes/systems as needed
    • APICS Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain is a plus
