As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by leading and directing the EMEA regional sales activities for select OEM’s and Tier 1’s. The product portfolio will include both eMobility & internal combustion engine solutions. This role is key to shaping the sales strategy at select customers as the electric vehicle market grows and the technologies transition over the next 10 years. Experience in managing German customers new program launches is a key requirement. Your functional responsibilities will include defining and executing the customer strategy, managing the existing business, growing the pipeline of pursuits and securing new program wins. Skills and experience in negotiation and value selling are key to ensure the sustainability of your allocated business. This person will be an individual contributor and will be reporting to Senior Sales Manager Light Vehicle Northern Europe

Your main responsibilities:

  • Serves as / leads a member of a cross-functional customer interface team to insure a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Leads the development of the regional customer strategy for both the annual profit and five-year strategic plans
  • Provides input into the description, qualification, and recommendations of growth opportunities for new product and systems.
  • Manages cost reduction programs to support customer cost reduction initiatives while maintaining internal profitability targets.
  • Evaluates and communicates customer performance reports.
  • Deploys the Customer Relationship Review (CRR) process and assists in developing action plans to improve customer satisfaction performance.
  • Support all Eaton Business System tasks assigned to the Sales and Marketing function (including ProLaunch, EBEA, TS, etc.)
Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business, or other approved discipline.
  • Fluent English and German
  • Min 3 years of sales experience in Automotive industry
  • Financial Skills: P&L, Cost estimating, Pricing
  • Market and Customer Knowledge
  • Value Proposition Design & Communication
  • Digital Skills: Microsoft Power BI or Power Apps preferable
