T HE ROLE : The A/P Clerk will be responsible for administering supplier payments and related functions. This role will also interface with several internal and external groups (including Finance, Treasury, Tax, Projects, Operations, and Procurement). CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment; including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system
• Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
• Prepares batch check runs, EFT/ACH and wire transfers
• Reconciliation and processing of monthly payable accounts
• Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation
• Partner with Accounts Payable Manager to assist with innovating and improving current processes

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 2+ year experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role
• Ability to accurately process 40+ Invoices a day
• Experienced in Microsoft Dynamics software is an asset
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
• Strong customer service skills for both internal and external clients
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Familiar in GST/HST/ PST rules and regulations is a plus
