Job Description

Description:• Keep pace with enabling technologies and provide input to technology insertion plans
• Understand technology stacks that support current and future industry and government security requirements
• Track security issues and updates to existing applications/software to prepare for possible upgrade needs (through DADMS and application websites)
• Ability to understand the structure of an existing integrated solution
• Meet with customer to understand and interpret requirements for a new integrated solution
• Able to plan the integration of multiple applications to create a fully integrated software solution
• Understanding requirements and expectations of different technology environments, i.e. cloud, mobile, standalone environments, connected government environments, etc.
• Produce technical presentations in support of program reviews, both internally and with the customer
• Work with the development team to provide proper guidance on the structure and layout of an integrated solution
• Familiar with allowable licenses for open source and commercial software
• Knowledgeable with industry standards for software and application interfacing/integration
• Generating work products such as basic usage scenarios, sketches/models, and pertinent architecture and design documentation
• Assisting in data systems integrations and data synthesis if/as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent work experience
• MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Timeline)
• Detail oriented, technically inclined and team oriented
• Clear, concise writing skills
• Ability to effectively work with internal & external customers
• Ability to work independently and work with limited direction to accomplish project goals
• Able to communicate technical concepts in an easy to understand fashion for the internal development team, internal leadership, and external customer
• Experience in creating/maintaining integrated software solutions in a complex environment
U.S Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Systems Security Engineering and Cyber Security principles (both LM and government)
• Experience with software user interface design
• Familiarity with different software licenses for commercial and open source software
• Familiarity with government IA requirements (STIGs, SRGs, etc.)
• Experience with different technology environments (cloud, mobile, etc.)
