Responsibilities

Responsible to manage the clinical operations within the Orthopedic Clinic and cast room, meeting continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial, and delivery requirements in support of Seattle Children’s mission, vision and values. In conjunction with the Clinic Chief, Director and Ambulatory CNS, this position is responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives for Orthopedic and Ambulatory Services.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in another field.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
Required Credentials:
- Current Washington State RN license.
- National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or business related field.
- Experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting.
- Recent experience in an ambulatory management and/or leadership role.
- Performance improvement experience.

In accordance with new Washington law for healthcare workers, Seattle Children’s requires that all staff be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on or before October 18, 2021, or before beginning employment for start dates after October 18th.
