As a Support programmer within Ubi MTL’s Harbour team, you will take care of the technical support of deployment pipeline used by all the Online Service platform. In direct communication with the online programmer community of all projects developed at Ubisoft, you will participate in the success of our games by helping them to make the most of the online services provided by the Harbour platform.

Implementation coaching, complex problem investigation, consulting, training, etc. The position has multiple facets which will let you express both your technical and human skills. We are looking for someone who can propose durable, flexible, and stable solutions in an ever-changing context.

You will be responsible for sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the integration and use of the Ubisoft Online deployment platform. You will do so through technical documentation, email communications or during in-person calls. Since this is a central platform to the Ubisoft Online core, you will be encouraged to propose stable and sustainable solutions to answer the demand of our clients.

What you’ll do

· Assess technical problems encountered by developers and operators when using our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

· Propose robust and sustainable solutions + work with dev team to develop fixes.

· Coach and guide new teams during product integration (API, pipeline, infrastructure etc.).

· Create and maintain technical documentation that will serve as a reference for our customers.

· Make sure that the technical solutions designed by our clients comply with Harbour guidelines .

· Manage and prioritize a variety of support issues.

· Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers (partners, Harbour development teams).

Qualifications

What you bring

· An undergraduate degree in computer science, software development, computer engineering, or equivalent

· At least 1 to 3 years of experience in IT, programming, front-end development, network infrastructure management, or other relevant experience (experience in online development is an asset)

· Knowledge of:

o Programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Python) and standard libraries

o Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc.)

o SRE and DevOps practices

o CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, etc.)

o RESTful APIs

· A great interest in debugging and troubleshooting

· Attention to detail and critical thinking

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage priorities and handle several files in parallel

· Motivation to help others, solve technical and complex problems
