Description:The Project Manager is responsible for the development of the relationship with NFS Project Teams and coordination of Start Up Services procurement activities to assure on time delivery and installation of equipment to Project sites. Manages and provides expertise in installation and assembly of multiple Main Loan Fund and Plant, Maintenance&Renovation Projects. Responsible for procurement planning based on the Project move-in plan. Purchasing Project Managers are required to coordinate; delivery with multiple distributors and vendors, installation&placement of equipment, delivery&schedule coordination of equipment, work performed by sub-contractors with relation to equipment and the construction project managers/team. Purchasing Project Managers will handle multiple projects (300 annual average) at one time at values through $ 300-$ 400 million dollars. Provides high quality and cost effective project management and technical field expertise for a broad range of procurement and move-in issues. Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as it relates to chain of custody, equipment sign-off, tagging, reporting, and resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in: procurement, distribution, analysis, materials management, facilities design, planning, architecture, project management, logistics, contracting, shipping&receiving or related field.
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
- N/A
Additional Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in customer service, problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required .
- Microsoft Office Suite and automated purchasing software system skills preferred.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health-care administration, finance, materials management, or a related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field preferred.
