The Role: Minted is looking for a passionate and dynamic full lifecycle recruiter to join us on a contract basis who understands how to independently source quickly and creatively, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind. You are highly responsive to our candidates as well as our hiring managers. As a Senior Contract Technical Recruiter, you’ll make a big impact on Minted and our success through hiring critical talent and key leaders into Engineering, Product, Analytics, and other teams across the company. Partnering closely with our leadership team and our passionate hiring managers, you’ll develop effective talent acquisition strategies, help strengthen our employer branding, and implement recruiting processes and programs that enable us to reach our goals.
You will:
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and key business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and to bring the best technical talent to Minted
- Manage full-cycle recruiting — from implementing innovative sourcing strategies to closing top-notch candidates — for roles across a range of technical functions, levels, and locations
- Develop and execute fully comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches
- Be an advocate for candidates as well as hiring teams with consistent touch points and transparent communication throughout the interview process
- Maintain flexibility to deal with ambiguity and the evolving needs of the business environment
- Partner with the Manager of Talent Acquisition and People Team colleagues to develop scalable processes and team improvements
You are:
- Passionate and effective at sourcing the best and the brightest technical talent through traditional and non-traditional channels
- A superb communicator with high EQ who builds rapport and trust quickly with internal team members as well as candidates
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid, and dynamic environment
- Flexible; a quick learner and adaptable self-starter who needs little direction to be successful
- Proactive; always looking to improve process, experience, and environment as it relates to the recruiting and candidate experience
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is focused on team success
You have:
- 7-10+ years of proven in-house/agency full-cycle tech recruiting
- A BA/BS (Business, Communications or related field) or equivalent work experience
- A strong understanding of technical terminology, tools, and platforms, enabling you to speak knowledgeably to both hiring managers and candidates
- A proven track record of successful partnership with engineering, product, and other leaders to find top notch technical candidates
- Strong attention to detail, high ability to maneuver fluidly with changing priorities
- Experience in an eCommerce and/or marketplace space
- Significant experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably, Lever)
