Cybersecurity Technology Controls (CTC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls, Access Management and IT Risk agendas, with a focus on stability, delivery, efficiencies and people. The goal of TC is to drive standardization, consistency and simplicity in a JPMorgan Chase architecture that fosters long-term productivity, quality and innovation across the entire enterprise. The disciplines within this organization are Oversight & Controls Technology, Identity & Access Management, IT Risk & Controls, and Third Party Risk Management.

The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) organization within CTC provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LOBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by TC, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Identify, Governance and Administration (IGA) team. This person will interface between JP Morgan Chase business owners, Technology teams and third parties to assist and support the selection, design and implementation of access controls across multiple technologies. They will be organized enough to support multiple clients at one time efficiently and effectively. The resource will also have excellent communication skills to allow them to explain complex technical issues to both business and technology experts.

Responsibilities :

This will require an understanding of requirements, operating models, business flows and data and then partnering with technical specialists to deliver appropriate solutions. There is an implicit ownership and accountability for the solution working as intended.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented hands-on leader who can handle many different roles such as:

• Partnering with key stakeholders to identify the solutions that meet their needs
• Defining user stories and acceptance criteria
• Advising stakeholders on options, risks, and aligning of priorities
• Obtaining stakeholder signoff
• Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams
• Creating user help for end users and internal support teams
• Providing direction for testing of new functionality
• Facilitating implementation of new functionality through training and demonstrations
• Collaborating with business users and technology partners at all levels

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5+ years of Java/JEE design and development skills. Must have strong analysis (both requirements and system) and design skills.
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Strong experience with performance testing, performance test tools, investigation and resolution.
• 4+ years current hands-on experience in Angular, JSP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and JavaScript.
• Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, MQ, WebService concepts, REST service concepts, XML, JSON, and Apache+Tomcat.
• Experience in writing, maintaining, performance tuning SQL/PLSQL (Oracle preferred), and the ability to write complex SQL, understand complex procedures and triggers.
• Current experience in applying Test Driven Development techniques (jUnit, Selenium, Cucumber or similar tools),
• Understanding of DevOps and current hands-on experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Git and Bitbucket
• 2+ years of experience in delivering solution through Agile methodology including daily participation in Agile ceremonies
• Exposure to and/or experience with LDAP, Active Directory, Unix and Mainframe operating systems like ACF2, RACF etc.
• Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, skills in dealing with a diverse population.
• Passionate about technology, problem solving, learning new skills, sharing expertise and knowledge
