JOB DESCRIPTION

The Client Engineering team is looking for an exceptional candidate who can directly interface with strategic International clients to provide support for Nielsen Media suite of Digital Video & Audio measurement products. The Digital Client Solution Architect will be accountable for the successful integration and deployment of Nielsen solutions into Client platforms (Browser, and Applications). The focus will be on Video Players and the measurement of Content and/or Ad’s displayed via these Video Players.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture for Engineering during the Tender process
• Support Technical Pre-Sales activity
• Provide consultation on complex projects and function as a recognized technical expert in the suite of Nielsen digital products
• Research, assess and facilitate the adoption of new technologies into the Nielsen product set
• Propose conceptual solutions and recommend alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and procedures
• Provide Training, coaching, technical and business knowledge sharing to other members of the team

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 5+ years of software development/engineering or product management experience, in particular in Video App development & integration (preferable in a client-facing role)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience with Online Media Industry technologies, specifically:
  • Vide AdTech (VAST, VMAP)
  • Vide Encoding & Compression (inc. HLS, MPEG-DASH)
  • Vide Content Distribution (inc. HTTP, CDN’s)
  • Content Management Systems

Desirable Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience with Knowledge of SDK integration (in particular Video Player Applications)
• Experience with SQL (relational DB understanding)
• Expert level experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, iOS or Android
