DCG Ethernet Silicon Design (DSD) is one of Intel's leading groups, responsible for end-to-end development of industry and market leading Ethernet controllers, focused on cloud, communication and enterprise markets.

About the role:

As an Engineering Manager at Intel, you will be managing one of the Design Verification (DV) Teams under the Data Center Group (DCG) that is delivering ethernet networking silicon.

These teams focus on different aspects of the value stream for projects for the server networking market segments as well as new technologies under development.

The Team charter includes development of pre-silicon emulation environment and test content for low level silicon of Intel NIC platforms that are being integrated by OEMs, ODMs or end-users such as Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Planning, providing resources for and directing activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost
• Cultivating and reinforcing appropriate group values, norms and behaviors
• Providing guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues
• Planning and scheduling daily tasks, using judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices
• Planning and providing input into budget discussion for capability and capacity purchases of equipment and collateral's needed by the team

Qualifications

Important for us:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineer
• Experience in leading and/or managing a Team
• Ability to function in a dynamic environment and to react quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to use appropriate management styles best suited for each team member.
• Technical knowledge and experience in the pre-silicon verification area, understanding of Ethernet.
• Familiarity with the product development life-cycle of silicon products.
• Good communications skills, both written and spoken as you will be communicating with various stakeholders on a regular basis as well as syncing with management on status and future plans.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Pre-Si emulation experience
• Experience with Verilog, RTL simulators (such as VCS), emulation environments.
• Prior exposure to validation/verification and test frameworks
