Job Description

Jam City is looking for an experienced Manager, Product Marketing to bring their skills to our suite of Disney mobile games! You’ll have the opportunity to work with an incredibly talented team across multiple projects, using world-class IPs from Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars! The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership and a clear vision for how to bring marketing campaigns to life---influencing and working cross-functionally along the way. We’re looking for a storyteller with a finger on the pulse of mobile game marketing. Someone with analytical chops, a can-do attitude, and excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills in order to drive impact across different teams. The Manager, Product Marketing will be responsible for driving our go-to-market strategies for our next hit Disney game as well as developing and executing product marketing plans for our existing portfolio. You’ll plan and manage the day-to-day execution of cohesive marketing, content, and communications strategies focused on maximizing marketability, organic growth, and scaling audiences and revenue worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create, lead and execute go-to-market, brand strategy, engagement & retention plans in close coordination with fellow marketing colleagues (i.e. Creative, Performance Marketing) and cross-functional partners such as Production, Product Management, Publishing, PR, etc.
    • Spearhead novel product marketing and social campaigns in collaboration with fellow marketing colleagues (i.e. Creative, Performance Marketing, PR) to develop focused integrated marketing campaigns in alignment with product roadmap
    • Manage a portfolio of digital products, set priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Establish strong relationships with game studios and central teams to develop a deep understanding of the product live ops and brands to build seamless and successful product campaigns
    • Develop and lead day-to-day relationships with licensing partners, managing ongoing approvals. Cultivate relationship to effectively collaborate, problem solve, and maximize co-marketing opportunities
    • Identify KPIs and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and implement improvements where necessary
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends, and competitor marketing practices and capabilities
    • Directly manage a social media manager including career development, employee engagement, and performance management.
    • Assist in tracking creative projects, managing timelines - ensuring projects stay on track.
    • Manage ad-hoc projects and requests, as needed.
    • Oversee Product Marketing budget and maximize effectiveness of campaigns within budget
    • Synthesize marketing initiatives, insights, and viewpoints into C-level strategy materials for Jam City’s leadership teams

REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years experience in Video/Mobile Game or Digital Media Product Marketing, licensed IP and mobile free to play is a huge plus
    • Proven track record building brands and successfully bringing them to market
    • Experience operating across the full marketing mix; including but not limited to: digital marketing, TV media, trailer production, campaign development, consumer insights, social media/community, performance marketing,, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships.
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, with excellent project management and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze game and marketing KPIs, interpret data, and drive recommendations
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience in developing and delivering executive presentations.
    • Self-starter with a willingness to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo to launch games that become globally recognizable brands
    • Must be confident, organized, professional, creative, innovative and possess drive
    • Must be able to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
    • Strong visual and art direction skills; Adobe CS experience a plus.
    • Self-starter and an innovative thinker.
    • Must be willing to work PST hours.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $115,000— $173,000 salary per year. Apply for this job
