The Role We are currently seeking an IT Engineer based in Hyderabad/India who can provide excellent L1 and L2 IT end-user support for our colleagues as well as the technical environment across the APAC region. The eligible candidate must be resourceful, technical, cool under fire, and must love working in a dynamic, multinational environment. A high sense of autonomy and job ownership is also desired. We are looking for someone with a strong service focus and customer-first mentality who wants to grow their career alongside the rest of the business in the region.

What You’ll Do

    • Having the ownership of L1 and L2 Helpdesk support
    • Interacting with internal clients to help resolve all levels of IT-related issues via the IT ticketing system
    • Local vendor management
    • Corporate PC/Mac management and deployment
    • Setting up and maintaining the local meeting rooms and conference rooms
    • Coordinating hardware warranty and repairs
    • Organizing the IT inventory and updating IT asset data (serial numbers, software keys, locations, etc.)
    • Assisting in the management of hosted IT applications (Google G Suite, Egnyte, Zoom, etc.)
    • Managing the purchase of hardware and software products according to internal processes
    • Performing various routine tasks including: IT account and asset management for on-/off-boarding of employees & Diagnosis and repair of end-user IT devices
    • IT ticket management

Requirements

    • Eligibility of employment in your location (no VISA sponsorships)
    • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills in English
    • Finished formal education in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline, or minimum 3+ years of professional experience in desktop support, IT infrastructure engineering, or similar IT (support) roles

Nice to Have

    • Experience in supporting not only MS Windows 10 but also Mac OS
    • Acquisition of network certificates such as CCNA
    • Knowledge of general IT security controls and best practices
    • Experience documenting IT applications and training users
    • Cisco Meraki operational experience
    • Previous working experience in a global organization across multiple regions and time zones
    • Understanding ITIL best practices or possessing a certificate
